As a juror, am I obligated to disclose what type (unreported) crimes have been committed against me?

Along with a summons for jury duty, there is a questionnaire that covers what most attorneys want to know during jury selection. I can understand why they would want to know, but am I really obligated to answer? If I write "prefer not to answer" does that increase the likelihood that they'll ask?

I want to be honest, but don't I have a right to privacy?

They want to make sure you were not a victim of the same type of action that the defendant is on trial for. That may create a bias.

The answers are kept confidential.
