How does one answer a POP Server message?

From time to time when I am on a site, I have to contact the people who are running the site. Very often, they have a CONTACT button. When I click on the button I get a form (sometimes with thin blue lines to write on) - but it won't send the message because I do not have "Outlook." Sometimes you get a questionnaire which I guess will put you on Outlook - but the questions are very confusing. For instance, they want your POP or ISMPT number or address (incoming %26amp; outgoing). What are they talking about? How does one answer these questions?

How does one answer a POP Server message?
firstly if you have microsoft office, you have outlook and this can be configured to use 'pop' mail. if you do not have office then you do have outlook express which can be configured to use 'pop' mail - your yahoo account is 'pop' mail. as far as the contact buttons are concerned, when you point the cursor to a button an address will appear at the very bottom of your browser - copy this address into your yahoo account and send your message. your 'pop' or 'smtp' address would that of your mail account - yahoo is pop.mail.yahoo.xxx and smtp.mail.yahoo.xxx the details at xxx will depend upon your country of residence
Reply:Any website using the %26lt;mail to:%26gt; format inside their HTML needs an email client installed on whatever PC your using.
