Where is the best place to do survey?

I'm doing a research now. Have to look for 300 subject to do the questionnaire. I had tried at lrt station, shopping mall and bus stop last few days...but not many Malaysian will help me do the questionnaire...really tired...any suggestions?Thanks!

go to shopping mall, find those man tat are waiting 4 their wife to shop inside..
Reply:it depend also what you want in your survey, healty survey, life style survey, products survey, sex survey and etc...


find out the survey type and target where you can find such group.


e.g. smoking survey, you can try restaurant/ coffee shops around office area and ask them during lunch time.i hope it helps.


Ltr %26amp; bus stop is not a good area to make a survey because everyone is rushing to their destination.

Reply:I would sit outside of a university library, say you're doing research,and you're more likely to get people to assist, since they may be more sympathetic (knowing how much of a pain it is to do research).
Reply:but u have to look at yr target market if u want accuracy


other then that try yr family and friends..mabye u can email out those questionaire in your contact list or something..


or u can also fill in yrself :P (thats what i did before for my project in school- the lecturer wont know)

Reply:well i suggest u do put a table on the lrt station asking ppl to fill up the questionnaire %26amp; also offer some token by doing this..

Reply:It's hard. try to ask some professors at universities or teachers at high schools favors.
Reply:I guess those places you mentioned are high volume foot traffic but the people passing through are in a hurry or have things/errands to do. So look for those places where people are more relaxed. My general observation is that people dont want to answer questions, participate in surveys because they consider these surveys to be intrusive and time consuming. So try cutting down the list, and vary the questions, then use some creativity by adopting some answers for including in the response from other respondents.


Work smart. Also as some have said, farm out the questions to family and friends cos you need to use your network to achieve more than what you can possibly achieve alone. best of luck.

On the other hand, you might want to divide your survey forms to your friends and family members. They may help you out by calling up close friends and family members to take up the survey. You should try leveraging your effort to make it less exhausting.
