from minus 3 to 8, which is the point where I can say that the balance is tilting?

In my group children's attribution style questionnaire gave scores from -3 to 8. How should I classify these
-3 + 8 = 11


11/2 = 5.5


The answer is 5.5


Of course there is Mean Median and Mode to consider.


That's when the average might score 5.5, then some smart guy or not so smart guy raises or lowers the average.
