To check effectiveness of performance appraisal in an organisation via questionnaire to employees?

Performance appraisal is a method by which the performance of an employee is evaluated in terms of quality, quantity, cost and time.





A 360° appraisal where the managers assess performance of employees and employees assess performance of manager has been found to be very effective in effectively running an organization !





However, the quality of the questionnaire decides the effectiveness of the appraisal !!

Gauging the effectiveness of Performance appraisal through a questionaire to employees will depend on the accuracy of your questionaire.





I suggest that you ask the help from a psychometrician to attain at least 90% accuracy. This is how rating or poll/survey company do them.





However, there are other means of measuring effectiveness of your performance appraisal without resorting to surveys. I


Suggest that you also do it in parallel to your survey.
