Interview questions for Supervisor/Manager for Engineering Firm?

I have to answer a supervisory questionnaire for a management position in engineering via email. Typically, I am confident during interviews but would like some input/good vocab from the experienced individuals out there since this time a written answer is required. This way I can combine my answers with yours and hopefully I can get this job! The following are questions that the company is asking prior to the interview. Thank you in advance!

1. Describe supervisory experiences.

2. Describe your roles and responsibilities in new product development and/or support of an existing product.

3. Describe how you have built and led an effective team. How have you developed staff?

4. Describe the most recent difficult staff management problem you faced and the steps you took to resolve it.

5. Describe your experiences transferring designs into a manufacturing environment.

Interview questions for Supervisor/Manager for Engineering Firm?
First, be honest in all your answers. If you don't have actual paid experience, then substitute any volunteering you have done. Second, remember to use the spell check. Also include dates if you can. For instance for #1: At XYZ Company, less than a year after I started (around Month/Year) I was promoted to Supervisor of X people for X dept. Also toot your horn here! Try to take your time to remember all you can. Good luck!
